Setting up the Asio4All Driver

The Asio4All universal driver was developed by
Michael Tippach and is designed to provide low latency recording and playback for most sound cards, even if the sound cards didn't come with an Asio driver.

To open the Asio4All control panel, press the Open button at the bottom of the Options window in Guitar Racks, this will then open the Asio4All control panel.

Press the spanner icon to the bottom right of the Asio Control Panel and this will switch it to advanced mode, you now see something like the picture below.

Next expand the device list by clicking on the box with a + sign in it for each of the devices.

The computer being used in this example has a Realtek HD Audio device which is build into the motherboard, and a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy PCI card which has an amped guitar connected to it's line-in socket.

Make sure that the power on icons and the status icons are blue and lit for the device name, and it's input and output lines, of the device you have your guitar connected too.
