New features
for version 1.44
6 new tunings have been added, Octave, A, Drop B, Dsus4, All
4ths, and F.
New features for version 1.43
Asio support has been extended to include support for USB
audio and guitar interfaces with Asio 2 drivers.
A button has been added to the options box that opens the
Asio control panel, which should make changing Asio audio
devices easier. The list of supported buffer sizes in the
options has been changed so audio devices that only support 256
or 512 will also work.
New features for version 1.42
The colour scheme has
been changed again. The bar and label colours are back to gray-blue
by default as this seems to be more popular. Guitar Multi Fx now
starts up showing the presets, instead of the analyser, and it
now remembers which one was displayed last before closing the
program. A mono / stereo selector has been added to the
options box, and this option will be remembered too. Mono is
recommended for those of you who have a mono jack connected to
their sound card line-in / mic socket. The loudness
limiter for use with headphones option is now off by default.
Pressing the C key will now change the bar and label
colours, and let you cycle through all the available colours.
New features
for version 1.41
There is a new red, orange and yellow colour scheme called fire
which is now the default colour scheme, another shade of
grey-blue has also been added to the colours list in the
options. If you preferred the old colours, you can change them
back in the options. The folder paths for all the loading and
saving boxes for both the presets and the recorder are now
remembered by the program for the length of the session. More
graphical improvements and fixes have been made to the program,
and a little more has been added to the help.
New features for version 1.4
The colours of the lit text labels for the effects and presets
etc, and the bar graph meters and analyser can now be changed in
the Options box, which allows users to pick their own colour
scheme. An option has been added to override the presets volume
limiting, which makes the loudness of all the presets similar
for people using headphones. So now you can make the distortion
presets sound a lot louder by un-checking the "Limit distortion
volume, for use with headphones" check box. This version also
contains several graphics rendering improvements, and fixes.
New features for version 1.36
Support for using multiple sound devices at the same time has
been added for the DirectKs mode in the Options box. This has
been added for all those of you who want to use a guitar
interface, or sampling cable with Guitar Multi Fx. If your using
the Asio4All driver then please make sound device changes in the
Asio4All control panel, and then restart Guitar Multi Fx for the
changes to take effect. There are several bug fixes relating to
sound options changes made on systems with Vista.
New features for version 1.35
Bug fix - A bug that caused an error message on start up telling
the user to download Asio4All on computers with Vista, has been
fixed.
New features for version 1.34
The program priority has been changed to start in normal mode by
default, this setting is better for people using Ultrawave
Guitar Multi Fx with other audio programs at the same time.
New features for version 1.33
Sampler settings changed in the Options box are now saved and
will be loaded the next time the program is run. Eight new
presets have been added, so the total number of presets is now
36. The Analyser and preset display has been made taller, which
makes it look better. The performance of the Recorder during
loading and saving has been improved, a bug which caused
occasional crashes or a white rectangle to be displayed during
loading or saving has been fixed.
New features for version 1.32
The program now starts with it's program priority set to
Realtime mode, which means the chances of audio drop outs or
latency increase, due to an anti virus, or networking program
interrupting the audio streaming, will be greatly reduced. You
can now select between different program priority modes from the
Options box.
The mixer button has been split into two buttons, one for
playback, and the other for recording. This should make it
easier to adjust the Windows mixer.
The recorder's Fx button is now turned on automatically when the
record button is pressed, so that the effects are applied to the
recording. The Fx button is automatically turned off when the
stop button is pressed, so that the effects aren't applied to an
already effected recording.
New features for version 1.3
28 Effect presets have been added. To use them just press on the
Presets button, and click on one of the items in the presets
list You can also load and save your own effects presets, as
